I didn't really like it. The plot wasn't particularly interesting, nor did it really seem to mean much. The acting could have been more natural. I actually think the girl did the best job there. Overall, it wasn't bad acting.

The filming itself was good, but I didn't like the style. It somewhat fits the idea of the movie, but that's just about taste, I suppose. It's like it was a mix between cinematic and documentary. If it had been just one or the other (preferably documentary, as that seems most appropriate), it would have been good.

    But that's just my opinion.

And btw: I DO NOT WANT TO BE SIGNED UP FOR YOUR MAILING LIST. DON'T FORCE PEOPLE INTO THAT!

I think it´s great that people are being creative, and are doing these kinds of things on their own time for no money. Hell, i would probably have done a much worse job if i had tried to make a short-movie. But.. this was no good.. The acting was poor, something i could have lived with if the plot wasn´t that excruciatingly uninteresting. The only one that acted a little bit decent was the girl that came with the weedbag. But keep on trying. Next time, try to use a little bit longer time to write an interesting script, the bad acting is one thing, no one are really expecting it to be top notch, but if the story is as pointless and boring as in this short.. it´s just no point using time to make it to a movie that no one is going to like even a tiny bit. Good luck in the future from Norway!

Thanks for your comment, Martin. I should add that we did shoot this entire thing in one night, and the actors had one day to memorize their lines. We shot it with a Canon HV-20, with 35mm adaptor lens, and Rode NTG-2 mic. I really like how the lens turned out, and for the most part we got pretty clean audio.

I hope you come back and check out my next short, Bathroom. Going in a different direction, it’s a silly comedy, but I think it will play well. I actually just started editing it last night.
